World Resilience Uganda (WRU) is a registered community-based organization committed to building healthy, sustainable and elite communities in Uganda. We exist to empower vulnerable children, youth, widows and marginalized groups through education support, entrepreneurship training, financial literacy and community development initiatives.
World Resilience Uganda was established to respond to persistent challenges facing vulnerable communities, including poverty, school dropouts, unemployment, poor financial management, and limited access to sustainable livelihoods.
We work directly with communities, schools, farmer groups and youth associations to provide practical skills that lead to income generation, improved wellbeing and long-term self-reliance. Our approach emphasizes community participation, accountability and sustainability in all our interventions.
Through strategic partnerships, structured training programs and grassroots engagement, WRU promotes inclusive development that restores dignity and builds resilience among the most vulnerable populations.
